I chose Black Copper Marans for their dark eggs and the contrast they bring to your basket! I focus on the SOP for the breed as well as a dark egg color. Marans are a medium-large layer of 250+ eggs per year. Their egg color is unmatched and is an absolute necessity for maximum variety and depth in your egg basket
French Black Copper Marans
The only pure-breed chicken that lays a green egg. Layers of 200+ small green eggs/year, often with brown or white speckles. This a small-bodied breed that comes in Blue, Black and Splash. I keep a mixed variety flock, with a preference towards blue and splash offspring.
Silverudds Blue
I have a few different Olive Egger projects going at a time, including F1 and backcrosses. Black/Blue Marans, Lavender Ameracauna, Whiting True Blues, and Silverudds are all part of the Olive Egger projects. Dozens may include green/blue, brown or olive eggs, but the chickens that hatch will lay a different color than the egg they came from!
Olive Eggers
Rainbow dozens available include a mixture of all the above breeds, plus a few randoms from projects I have such as heavy blooms and pinks! This is the best way to get a rainbow basket of your own!
Hatch The Rainbow
A rare goose with naturally curly feathers- a sure conversation starter and favorite for your own homestead or farm. Hatching eggs and goslings available in limited quantities January- June.

Shipping not available. Local pick up only from the farm in San Marcos, TX. I test fertility on all my birds before sending eggs out, but once they leave the farm I cannot control handling or your incubator, so there is no guarantee on hatch rate.
